Destinations: Beijing, Yichang, Shanghai
Day 1: Arrival in Beijing
Upon your arrival, you will be met by the local guide and driver at the Beijing International Airport. Be driven to the downtown Beijing and check in the your hotel. Free explore Beijing in the rest time.
Accommodation: Yuexiu Hotel
Day 2: Beijing
After breakfast, we will drive you to the famous Badaling Great Wall. After hiking the Great Wall, you will visit Beijing Olympic Venue: China National Stadium (Bird's Nest) and China National Aquatics Center (Water Cubic).
Scenery Spots: Great Wall of China, Bird's Nest Stadium, Water Cubic Aquatics Center
Accommodation: Yuexiu Hotel
Meals: Breakfast, lunch
Day 3: Beijing
After breakfast, our guide will pick you up from the hotel; visit the Tian'anmen Square and Fordidden City. After lunch, you will take an over night train for Yichang.
Transportation: Beijing to Yichang
Scenery Spots: Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City
Accommodation: Soft Sleeper Train Cabin
Meals: Breakfast, lunch
Day 4: Yichang
In the morning, you will arrive in Yichang city. Be met by the local guide in Yichang. After check in your hotel, you will visit the local school, meet the teachers and students .
Accommodation: Hotel near the school
Meals: Beakfast, lunch.
Day 5 - Day 9: Volunteer English Teaching
Volunteering work starts. Following discussion with the local Englsih teachers and the guidelines for working, volunteer working might include:
- To assist local English teachers improving their oral English skills and teaching abilities.
- To teach students typically aged between 9 and 15 years old in one or more classes.
- To develop the children's self-confidence and motivate them to learn English.
- Provide the opportunity for cross-cultural awareness.
Day 10: Yichang-Shanghai
Have a city tour in Yichang, than take an overnight train for Shanghai.
Transportation:Yichang to Shanghai
Accommodation: Soft Sleeper Train Cabin
Meals: Breakfast, lunch
Day 11: Shanghai
Upon your arrival in Shanghai train station, you will be met by the local guide. After have lunch, you will visit the Bund and Nanjing Road. Check in your hotel.
Scenery Spots: The Bund, Nanjing Road
Accommodation: Shanghai Zhong Ya Hotel
Meals: Lunch, dinner
Day 12: Shanghai
Today we will arrange you visit Yu Garden and Yuyuan Market. After lunch, you will visit the Oriental Pearl Tower and Jade Buddha Temple.
Scenery Spots: Yu Garden, Oriental Pearl Tower, Jade Buddha Temple
Accommodation: Shanghai Zhong Ya Hotel
Meals: Breakfast, lunch
Day 13: Shanghai-Departure
Free in the morning until be driven to the airport for home.
