China Panda Tour 04  (Beijing ,Yichang,Yangtze River Cruise Tour,Chongqing,Chengdu Panda Base,Xi'an and Shanghai— 15 Days)

Day 1: Arrival in Beijing
Arrive in Beijing on your own arrangement. Be met & transferred to your hotel.

Accommodation: Grand View Garden Hotel     

Day 2: Beijing
Full day trip to the Great Wall, Ming Tomb and Sacred road. Enjoy a famous Peking Duck Banquet for dinner.

Sightseeing: Great Wall, Sacred Road, Ming Tombs
Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner

Day 3 : Beijing
Full day trip to the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven. Enjoy the Peking Opera Show in the evening.

Accommodation: Grand View Garden Hotel  
Sightseeing:Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven
Entertainment: Beijing Opera
Meals: breakfast, lunch

Day 4: Beijing-Yichang
Free in the morning, fly to Yichang.Be met by the local guide in Yichang, visit Yichang museum. Board the Yangtze cruise at night.

Transport: Beijing to Yichang, Flight No. TBA
Accommodation:Yichang International Hotel
Sightseeing: Research Basa of Chinese Sturgeon
Meals: Breakfast,lunch

Day 5: Yichang-Yangtze Cruise
Today we will arrange youl be a volunteer English teacher in a local middle school. After dinner, the guide will escort you board the deluxe Yangtze Cruise.

Accommodation: Yangtze Cruise
Activities: Be an English teacher in local school
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner

Day 6: Yangtze River-Xiling Gorge
In the morning, the cruise will sail through the famous Yangtze Xiling Gorge. About 10 AM, you will have an excursion to the Three Gorges Project. After two hours Three Gorges Dam tour, the cruise will sail through the Five-Step-Shiplock.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner

Day 7: Yangtze River Wu Gorge, Qutang Gorge
Today, you will have an excursion to Shengnong Stream or Lesser Three Gorges. In the afternoon, the cruise will sail through the famous Wu Gorge and Qutang Gorge.

Sightseeing: Wu Gorge, Qutang Gorge,Shennong Stream
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner

Day 8: Yangtze River
In the morning you'll disembark at Shibaozhai, a 12 storey red wooden pagoda which rests against the rock wall, where you can also climb up the spiral staircase to the top for a panoramic view of the winding river, the village and the countryside. Or you will visit Fengdu, the Ghost Town.

Sightseeing: Shibaozhai, Temples of Baidi Town
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner

Day 9: Chongqing-Chengdu
Arrive in Chongqing about 9:00 Am. Be met by the local guide in Chongqing. Visit General Joseph W. Stilwell Museum and People's Assembly Hall, after lunch, take a bus to Chengdu.

Transport: Chongqing to Chengdu, Bus No. TBA

Day 10: Chengdu (Panda Tour)

• At 8:00 AM, you will be met at the lobby of your hotel. Your English-speaking guide and driver will drive you to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding.
• After you arrive at the Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, you will visit Giant Panda Museum, Panda Cub House and Panda Bear Enclosure.
• A giant panda educational film will be show before you visit Panda Toy and Gift House.
• After traditional Sichuan Food lunch, you will visit Thatched Cottage of Du Fu.
• Visit Chengdu local tea house and drink tea with local people.

 

Day 11: Chengdu-Xi'an
Fly to Xian. Be met & transferred to your hotel. Have city tours to the Provincial Museum and the Ancient City Wall.

Transport: Chengdu to Xian, Flight No. TBA
Accommodation: The Bell Tower Hotel,Xian   
Sightseeing: Ancient City Wall, Shanxi Provincial Museum
Meals: breakfast, lunch

Day 12: Xi'an
Visit the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, the Huaqing Hot Spring. and the Wild Goose Pagoda.

Accommodation: The Bell Tower Hotel,Xian   
Sightseeing: Terra-Cotta Warriors, Wild Goose Pagoda
                     Huaqing Hot Spring
Meals: breakfast,lunch


Day 13: Xian-Shanghai
Free in the morning, fly to shanghai. Be met by the local guide in Shanghai; visit the Bund and famous Nanjing Road.

Sightseeing:Nanjing Road, The Bund
Meals: breakfast,lunch

Day 14: Shanghai
Today you visit the lovely old Yuyuan Garden , the Shanghai Museum, Jade Buddha Temple

                     Yuyuan Garden and Yuyuan market
Meals: breakfast,lunch

Day 15: Shanghai-Departure
Today you will board the flight home by yourselves. Alternatively, our tour specialists are very glad to arrange you the private extension tour upon request. (B)
