Sunrise on the Mountain Huangshan

It is said that only when you come to Shixin Peak that you will believe the magic of Mt. Huangshan. Or you won't see the Huangshan pines until you come to this Peak.

Bright Peak (1,860 meters, i.e. 6,102 feet), the second highest peak of Mt. Huangshan, is the most ideal place to watch the sea of clouds as all five seas will surround you.

Refreshing Terrace on the Lion Peak is the optimum place for watching the sea of clouds and sunrise.

In addition, Black Tiger Pine, Lovers' Pine, Two Immortals Playing Chess, etc, can all be enjoyed here. Let your imagination fly through those pines and rocks and you may find the views unique and unforgettable.

All in all, the North Sea is the most important scenic area. So never miss it. Hotels are abundant here, too

The North Sea Scenic Area is a few kilometers away from the Cloud-dispelling Pavilion of the West Sea Scenic Area. The Yellow Mountains Xihai Hotel is located between the North and West Sea Scenic areas. The Beihai Hotel is located near the Lion Peak, at an altitude of 1,630 meters above sea level.

At the Dawn Pavilion in front of the hotel, one may enjoy the beautiful scenery of Beginning-to-believe and Goddess Peaks as well as the Stalagmite Bridge. To the right of the hotel is a flower house that overlooks the Sunken Flower Valley. Making your way to the terrace and Lion Peak, one will see the Unicom Pine. Protruding out from the cliff and facing the valley in three directions, the terrace is an ideal place to watch the sunrise over the sea of clouds. From Lion Peak one can see a natural set of stones in Pingding valley that resembles a monkey gazing over the sea. Below Lion Peak is the Ten Thousand Pines Forest. Turning right from the guesthouse, and passing the ancient pines, one sees the Immortal Bridge before ascending the Beginning-to-believe Peak that reveals a magnificent view of stalagmites.
