China Train Tour 05 (Beijing-Chengdu-Wolong-Chengdu-Beijng 10 Days)

Day 1: Arrival in Beijing
Arrive at Beijing on your own arrangement. Be met & transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: Beijing -Chengdu
Free in the morning until you will be driven to the train station for Chengdu. (B,)

Day 3: Chengdu-Wolong
Visit Giant Panda Museum in the morning, trekking to Yingchanggou Valley in the afternoon, overnight in Panda Inn.(B,L)

Day 4-Day 6: Volunteer at Wolong
You will be a volunteer at the Panda Center.
Following a short training, volunteer service might include:

Assistant to the panda keepers:

• Cleaning panda areas and enclosures
• Preparing food for the pandas such as carrots, apples, panda bread and their nutritional biscuits
• Carrying lots of bamboo
• Sometimes you might be able to help collect behavioral data
• You will also have time to watch and photograph the pandas.

Interpreter in the panda garden:

• Introduce the giant panda research, such as breeding and hand-rearing.
• Introduce the giant panda research cooperation with the USA, Japan, Austria, Thailand etc
• Introduce all the giant pandas, their different habit, behavior etc.
• Tell stories of the giant panda for the visiting Chinese and international tourists.

Day 6: Wolong-Chengdu
Volunteering, and in the late afternoon about 16:00 drive back to Chengdu for night in the hotel. (B, L)


Day 7: Chengdu-Beijing
Free in the morning until you will be driven to Chengdu Train Station for Beijing (B)

Day 8 : Beijing
Full day trip to the Tian'anmen Square, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven . Enjoy the Peking Opera Show in the evening.

Day 9: Beijing
Full day trip to the Great Wall, Ming Tomb and Sacred road. Enjoy a famous Peking Duck Banquet for dinner. (B, L)

Day 10: Beijing / Departure
Free time until you are ready to be transferred to the airport for your departure.
