China Train Tour 03 (Shanghai ,Guilin,Yangshuo,Li River, Chongqing, Three Gorges,Yichang,Xi'an , Beijing— 14 Days)

Day 1: Arrival in Shanghai
Arrive at Shanghai on your own arrangement. Be met & transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: Shanghai
Visit Jade Buddha Temple, Shanghai Museum, the Bund and Nanjing Road. Take an overnight train to Guilin. (B, L)

Day 3: Shanghai-Guilin
Upon your arrival in Guilin, you will be met by the local guide at the train station, visit the Reed Flute Cave and the Elephant Trunk Hill. Drive you to the hotel.(D)

Day 4: Guilin-Yangshuo
Take the Li River cruise down to Yangshuo. You will enjoy the beautiful rural scenery along Li River. You will visit the local resident's family in Yangshuo. (B, L)

Day 5: Yangshuo-Guilin-Chongqing
Morning is free on your own leisure. You will be driven to Guilin Train Station to take a train for Chongqing. (B, L)

Day 6: Chongqing
Arrive in Chongqing at 8:30 AM. You will visit General Joseph W. Stilwell Museum, People’s Assembly Hall and Eling Park. After lunch, you will be transferred to the pier to board luxury Yangtze River cruise ship. (B, L)

Day 7: Yangtze River
This morning you'll disembark at Shibaozhai , a 12 storey red wooden pagoda which rests against the rock wall, where you can also climb up the spiral staircase to the top for a panoramic view of the winding river, the village and the countryside. In the late afternoon, you have the option of visiting the temples of Baidi Town. (B, L, D)

Day 8 : Yangtze Three Gorges
You'll enter the world-famous Three Gorges , and enjoy a 4-hour "soft adventure" to the 37.28 miles tributary, Shennong Stream . (B, L, D)

Day 9: Yichang-Xian
After the shore excursion to the Three Gorges Dam site you'll have a farewell lunch on board, the local guide will meet you and escort you to take a train (K625) at 15:17 PM to Xi'an. (B.L)

Day 10: Xian                                    
Arrive in Xian at 7:00 AM. Be met & transferred to your hotel. Have city tours to the Provincial Museum and the Ancient City Wall. (B, L)

Day 11:Xi'an-Beijing
Visit the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, the Huaqing Hot Spring and the Wild Goose Pagoda. Take an overnight train to Beijing. (B, L)

Day 12: Beijing
Arrive in Beijing at 6:44 AM. After lunch, you will visit the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. (B, L)

Day 13: Beijing
Full day trip to the Great Wall, Ming Tomb and Sacred road. Enjoy a famous Peking Duck Banquet for dinner. (B, L, D)

Day 14: Beijing
After breakfast, you will travel to the airport for your homeward flight by yourselves.(B)
