Day 1: Arrival in Xian
In the morning our guide will pick you up at Xian airport which is 33 miles away in the north of the city and transfer to the hotel. Visit the Bell Tower, Xi'an City Wall. Have a lunch in a nice restaurant. Enjoy special Dumpling Dinner in the evening. Check in the four star hotel.(L)
Xi'an City Wall : The most complete city wall that has survived in China , as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. The city wall, after its extension in the Ming Dynasty, stands 12 meters high.
The Bell Tower: It's a stately traditional building, which marks the geographical center of then ancient capital. From this important landmark extend East, West, South and North Gates of The City Wall of the Ming dynasty.
Day 2:Xi'an
After breakfast, our guide will pick you up from the hotel; visit the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, in the afternoon visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda. (B, L)
Big Wild Goose Pagoda was originally known as Wulou Temple (literally no leaking) in the Sui dynasty. In the 21st year (647) of Emperor Zhenguan rein of Tang dynasty, Prince Li Zhi (who later succeeded to the thrown as Emperor Gaozhong) reconstructed the Temple into Grand Benevolence Temple in commemoration of his of his mother Empress Wan De.
Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum : The greatest archaeological findings of the century: the army of terra-cotta warriors and the bronze chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at emperor Qin's tomb.
Day 3: Xian-Departure
Free in the morning, after visit the Shanxi History Museum. See off (L, D)
